Are you a horror movie fan?
I’ve haven’t seen of lot of horror movies, I tend to be a bit of a wimp. But when I read the script for Honeymoon, I thought it balanced a lot of genres.

How was it filming the sex scenes? Embarassing?
I would have to say yes. I don’t think anybody enjoys it. Both Harry [Treadaway] and I were in relationships. Both of us were like, this is so bizarre and strange.

Have you met his identical twin, Luke ?
I have met Luke very briefly but not with Harry.

Then how do you know it was Luke?
Oh no, you can tell. I think having spent eight solid weeks with Harry, I could tell.

What’s your fondest memory from Game of Thrones?
Gosh, I think it would have to be Iceland. We were able to go out to Iceland three years running.

What should we do if we go to Iceland?
The walks and the geysers, they’re so much fun, and ice-climbing. Make sure you see the Northern Lights. The concierge man in whatever hotel we were staying would ring around to everyone’s rooms. So all of us trekked outside on top of a hill in our pyjamas and hoodies and boots.

Are you outdoorsy?
I was brought up in the countryside, so yes. There’s not a lot to do when I go home to my parents’ house in Scotland and I go on a lot of walks. I’m one of five children and we had a wonderful childhood.

What’s it like being part of a big family?
You are able to laugh at yourself more and get taken the p*** out of. If you are lucky enough to get on with your siblings, there’s no holds barred.

What were you ribbed about?
Being the only ginger. Everyone else has dark hair. I was always « the postman’s daughter”.

You also appeared in Utopia. Are you a fan?
I’m a huge fan. I cannot stress enough. I loved the first season.

How did you react when you got the part?
I jumped up and down. I think I was in the flat with my younger sister and she’d watched the first season with me.

Do you live with your sister?
Yes, we’ve lived together for about a year and a half now.

What are you passions?
I love to cook. At the moment I’m doing Lebanese.

What would you cook for a special Lebanese dinner?
I think I would go for the orange lentils. I’d have to make the yoghurt and cucumber sauce, maybe with fried chicken.

When were you last nervous?
Auditions. They still get to me, always will. You have to feed off the nerves.

Which co-stars are you still in touch with?
Sophie McShera from Downton, she’s amazing. I have a lot of friends from Game of Thrones. Tom Burke, I absolutely love Tom. Not only is he an incredible actor, he’s a very lovely man.

Do you collect anything?
When I was younger it was the furry glittery stickers. I had a whole book. I remember how obsessed I was with those furry things. It was the texture. I remember wanting to stroke them and stare at my book. It was very weird.

Are you an animal lover?
I am. I’m more a dog person than a cat person. We have a family dog, Twiglet. I would love to have a dog in London but you need to make sure you’re willing to go out for four walks a day and I’m a little bit too lazy for that right now.

What are you up to currently?
I have just finished filming a job in Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, The Last Witch Hunter, which is a new mythology on witches and humans living together in the present time. Vin Diesel is attached, as is Michael Caine and Elijah Wood. It was a lot of fun. That will be coming out later this year. Having been away for a good solid five months it’s very much about catching up with my family and friends again. It’s lovely to be back here in London and feel a little bit more like me again, I’m happy just bumbling along.“
