Entertainment Weekly’s new issue features an article about The Good Fight’s upcoming season ; scans from the magazine as well as a new still of Rose as Maia Rindell can be found in the gallery. Here’s what is said about Rose’s character and Roland Blum, played by Michael Sheen :
Blum “is like a cancer”, says Michelle King, and his first victim – or perhaps we should say “acolyte” – is Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie), who’s feeling underappreciated at work. “He takes her under his wing, kind of against her will”, says Sheen. Maia, says Leslie, “is in awe of the way Roland Blum operates. He’s devious and corrupt, and Maia feels that may be the path for her. She’s tackling some big moral issues inside her head.”
After months of waiting, we now have our first look at The Good Fight Season 3 ! The trailer and release date have been unveiled yesterday during the show’s panel at the 2019 Winter TCA Press Tour in California. The creators of the show, Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald & Michael Sheen were in attendance to talk about the show and the new season which – mark your calendars ! – will premiere on March 14th on CBS All Access ! We also got the first stills of Rose as lawyer Maia Rindell (they have been added in high quality in the gallery and leave us wondering what could possibly be going on in these scenes) as well as some new informations about the season :
Season 3 titles are inspired by Friends, starting with “The One…” (for instance, “The One Inspired by Roy Cohn”) Michelle King said that they liked Season 2’s Trump administration day-count titles but it made it tough for them to remember.
The season will feature one soliloquy per episode as well as a few musical numbers.
There will be one Schoolhouse Rock type video per episode in the new season to explain things troll farms and NDAs.
Season 3 will have 10 episodes (Season 2 had 13 and Season had 10 as well).
Rose has been very quiet this year so even the smallest news is gladly welcomed ! You might have seen that the second season of ‘The Good Fight’ has been released on DVD last month. She doesn’t appear in any of the five short deleted scenes but she is featured in the gag reel which is as funny as the first one from the previous season :
Edit : For reasons still unknown, Rose sadly wasn’t able to attend the event and had to cancel.
Finally, some exciting news ! PaleyFest New York 2018 has released its official session schedule for the annual two-week celebration of the television series format and this year’s selection includes The Good Fight ! The panel will happen on October 15th at 7PM and several cast members including Rose are scheduled to attend.

The day has come : the 13th and last episode of the Season 2 of The Good Fight is here ! Sadly Rose isn’t in many scenes, but 164 HD screen captures have been added to the gallery. Reminder that there will be a third season which should be released next year, but we don’t know much about it for now. Meanwhile I hope you have been enjoying this season, and I plan to add many old missing pictures to the gallery to keep us busy during the hiatus !
EW – CBS All Access has announced that a third season of The Good Fight is on its way. The legal drama stars Christine Baranski as the inimitable lawyer Diane Lockhart, a character she fine-tuned on the CBS drama The Good Wife. The series also stars Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi, and Delroy Lindo.
“The Good Fight is a perfect example of what we strive for a CBS All Access original series to be: thought-provoking, boundary-pushing and, most of all, incredibly entertaining,” said original content chief Julie McNamara in a statement. “We can’t wait to see what Robert and Michelle King, their creative team and the incomparable cast will bring to audiences in season three.”
The series is from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. If you want to catch up, both seasons 1 and 2 can be found on CBS All Access. The finale for this year will be available to stream on May 27. To get a taste of the drama, read our most recent recap here. (source)
The screen captures from today’s episode have been added to the gallery ! Filming of the second season has been completed this week and Rose seems to have now left New-York where it was filmed to go back to Europe. There are still four more episodes to enjoy before the end of season two – we don’t know yet if there will be a third season, so keep your fingers crossed !
